Okyrhoe is the daughter of Nymph and Centaur. She was born as a human girl, but was turned into a mare by the Gods who were angered by her brave truth-telling: She predicted the fate of the healer Aesclepius and her father Chiron. Astrologically she is the muse of prophecy, oracles, and visions. Her name means swift flowing, like the currents of a river and of the inspiration she brings us. Her name is said O-kee-rho-eee!
