Solstice Sound Healing and More!

Greetings Centaur enthusiasts! I’m writing to let you know about an exciting event I will be co-hosting later this month. This year’s Winter Solstice happens to mark a significant astrological event (the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius.) So to celebrate this rare celestial moment, my colleague in Centaur Healing, Dr. Jenny Kellogg, has welcomed two inspiring creators of spiritual music to join us for an afternoon of healing sound, and you’re invited!

As Jenny told me: “Earlier this year, Sercan Öztürk reached out to me as one of his top listeners on Spotify. We struck up a friendship and he asked me about funding to record his next album. So in honor of how his music has helped get me through this challenging year, I offered to host a by-donation event for him.”

Sercan will perform songs from his next album, Gürüh-u Naciye, composed of songs sung by the mystical Islamic women devotees of the 15th century saint of the Alevi Dervishes, Haji Bektash Veli.

After Sercan’s performance on the saz, and following a brief meditation on the astrological moment, our friend Urana will share shamanic sound healing from her native Mongolian tradition.

I hope you can join us for this special event (on Zoom): Monday, December 21 at 1:30PM ET.

Please check out Sercan’s music on IG @delidervis_ and visit Uranbileg Batjargal at @uranaheart.

Join us to enjoy new music together while celebrating the historic alignments of the season, in a circle of healing energy and contemplative atmosphere. Usher in the new astrological era with spiritual vibrations from two mystical traditions, offered up to the heavens with prayers of celestial and earthly harmony.

*Stay tuned for my next blog, explaining some of the many Centauric overtones of this epochal Aquarian conjunction*
